Happy mothers’ day !

Of course, this calligraphy was made on Mother’s Day by Master Choktsang. It means “Happy Mother’s Day to all moms” at the request of many of our customers.

In fact, in Tibet, this day does not exist. However, the celebration of the parents is firmly rooted in the Tibetan world, because nothing would happen without parents.

In other words it could be translated as “Gratitude to the mother” or “Gratitude to parents”. The concept is very strong, encouraging children to respect any decisions and advice from the previous generation. As distant as the country of Tibet is, it reminds us today of how the times changed in our Western countries!
